Accessible Addiction Services for All Douglas County

Accessible Addiction Services for All Douglas County

Addictions cause substantial harm to communities and Douglas County is no exception. Unfortunately, approximately 2,700 Douglas County residents seek hospital emergency services for psychological health problems like alcohol problems and addictions rather than visit mental health facilities. This project will develop a training program that will equip a core group of residents with evidence-based skills and ongoing opportunities to help people with addictions. This project’s goal is to meet an obvious need for more accessible services in Douglas County so that people can get the help they need.
