Joshuaa Alison-Burbank

Joshuaa is a speech-language pathologist at the Center for Child Health and Development. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in speech and hearing sciences from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. He graduated with his Master of Arts degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Kansas.

Joshuaa coordinate’s speech-language pathology services in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) interdisciplinary training program, provides mentoring for speech-language pathology student training, and contributes to pediatric and family services including clinical transdisciplinary evaluations and consultations.

Joshuaa is interested in culturally-responsive assessment and intervention techniques for neurodevelopmental disabilities in Native American and other under-represented populations. In addition, he is interested in public health practices relating to disability awareness and prevention in rural communities.
