Dolenet remote access:

For Windows XP or Windows 7:

1. Use KUAnywhere. The instruction for using KUAnywhere:

2. After the connection completed, you can click the following link to map the network drives (U:, W:, X: and Y:)

For Firefox user, it will prompt a dialog box to save the file, click "save file" button, then the Downloads window will show the file "dolenetdrives.bat". Double-click the "dolenetdrives.bat" , it will prompt to ask "Are you sure to launch the file?", click "OK". It will prompt again on another security dialog box - "File Download-Security Warning", click "Run".

For Internet Explorer user, it will prompt a security dialog box - "File Download-Security Warning", click "Run".

When it prompts you for id and password, put home\ in front of your KU ID. The exact logon when you sign in Outlook.

Please contact us (LSI-ITS@ku.edu, 864-5630) to add the icons onto your laptop for your future convenience.

For iMac or MacBook:

1. Use KUAnywhere. The instruction for using KUAnywhere:

2. After connected to KUAnywhere, go to Finder, on the menu bar, chick Go, Connect to Server, type smb://129.237.244.7

You will see your group and user drives after login.
