Pediatric HIV/AIDS cohort study (PHACS) consultation

Description

The purpose of this study is to create a body of data to understand more fully the effect of HIV on sexual maturation, pubertal development, and socialization of HIV-infected preadolescents and adolescents, and to acquire more definitive information regarding long-term safety of antiretroviral agents when used during pregnancy and in newborns. Dr. Rice will provide expertise in the assessment of speech and language development and the evaluation of subjects identified with abnormalities.
