Stepping Up: Sustainable Implementation of Innovations for Student Achievement (SIISA)

Stepping Up: Sustainable Implementation of Innovations for Student Achievement (SIISA)

To address the underutilization of evidence-based technology tools, the University of Kansas
Center for Research on Learning (KUCRL) proposes an innovative implementation program in
collaboration with Don Johnston, Inc. (DJInc.), a leader in technology solutions for students with
disabilities. Our purpose will be to develop a Technology Innovation Adoption Model (TIAM)
that will be specific to the needs of the development, pilot, and dissemination schools involved
in this project  that will also be applicable to helping school staffs across the country
successfully implement evidence-based technologies into the lives of students with disabilities.
