Rural Disparities in Pediatric Obesity: The iAmHealthy Intervention

Rural Disparities in Pediatric Obesity: The iAmHealthy Intervention

Research indicates that pediatric obesity prevalence is high among all children, but that children from rural areas are disproportionately affected. There are very few interventions specifically targeting pediatric obesity treatment among rural children, a factor that contributes to this health disparity.

Dr. Kandace Fleming will serve as the study statistician and assist the team in the conceptualization and implementation of the randomization procedures and statistical analyses as outlined in this grant application. In collaboration with PI (Ann Davis) she will ensure appropriate data retention and management procedures.
