Making It Happen: Stepping Up Implementation of IGDI Technology to Improve Data-based Decision Making for Infants and Toddlers with or at-risk for Disabilities

Making It Happen: Stepping Up Implementation of IGDI Technology to Improve Data-based Decision Making for Infants and Toddlers with or at-risk for Disabilities

The purpose of this project is to develop a science-based implementation framework with web-based tools needed to support large-scale implementation of Infant and Toddler Individual Growth and Development Indicators (IGDIs) for universal screening and progress monitoring with decision making. Short-term outcomes include improved implementation of IGDIs for intervention decision making leading to wider adoption of IGDIs. Results will be an improved infrastructure supporting usability with links to state-wide longitudinal data systems. Long-term outcomes include fewer children needing special services, and a greater proportion of children equipped with the skills (language, literacy, social, and problem solving) for success in Pre-K-12.
