White receives ADA commemorative grant

Glen White, director of the Research and Training Center on Independent Living, has received a $25,500 grant to direct two research projects as part of the KU Dole Institute of Politics 2015 “commemorate ADA” initiative. The initiative recognizes the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

White will direct research teams for two projects: “Examining Evidence-Based Strategies to Reduce ADA Access Aisle Parking Violations” and “Development of an Evidence-Based Updated Advocacy Letter Training Package.” They will be conducted by graduate research assistants E. Alice Zhang and Kelsey Shinnick, respectively.
